Authorities say the man was intoxicated and carrying a .380 caliber handgun, Friday.

Authorities arrested a man accused of threatening to shoot another person, Friday night. Deputies from the Ross County Sheriff's Office were called to the Hiawatha Bar in Massieville at around 10:30pm, Friday, where the victim said Roger D. Compher pointed a handgun at him and threatened to shoot him.

Compher was contacted at his home. Authorities say he was intoxicated and had a handgun in his possession.

Compher was arrested for aggravated menacing and using a weapon while intoxicated.
