Nourse's free event will provide a place to view the fireworks and a Chinese auction to help Ross County's United Way.
Nourse Chillicothe Automall is sharing its facility with the community to safely enjoy the July 4th holiday evening and view the city fireworks..
"As this year’s Pacesetter business donor for the 2012 United Way Community Campaign, Nourse will be raising funds with a Chinese auction," said Barbara Nourse Sanford. "Our staff has been busy soliciting donations for the auction. We are all excited about this opportunity to enjoy the holiday with our friends while helping United Way support so many valuable community programs and services."
Nourse is providing an alcohol-free, family friendly environment, free hot dogs, and soft drinks (while they last).
A portion of their lot will be closed to traffic for the safety of those attending. Shade under the circus tents will be available for relief from the sun.
Live musical entertainment, corn hole games, a bounce house and the "Big Kahuna" water slide are among activities planned for the evening.
Gates will open at 6 pm and close after the fireworks.
Folks who come to the party are asked to consider bringing food to share, non-alcoholic beverages, and lawn chairs.
"This partnership with Nourse Chillicothe Automall is a real asset to our campaign this year. We appreciate their generosity and look forward to others joining our efforts to improve lives and strengthen our community," said Mary Elsass, executive director, United Way of Ross County.
