The board decided to hold off on putting a levy issue on the November ballot.
The Chillicothe School Board chose to leave a levy off the November ballot, Thursday. Superintendent Jon Saxton said board members opted to consider putting a levy before voters in May.
Members have been in discussions about selecting a traditional tax, property tax, or earned income tax as a way to generate revenue.
In recent weeks, Saxton said the school has already cut close to $4 million dollars in the past 3 years and reduced staff numbers.
