The community forum opens a discussion as to what should become of city school buildings after their new campus is built.

Community leaders and residents gathered Monday night in Circleville to open a dialog into what should become of the current city school buildings after their new K-12 campus is completed.

The meeting took place at the Everts Middle School, which is one of the sites that some are proposing could become a city community center.

Mayor Don McIlroy was on-hand, along with interested parties from the public and private sector. The meeting was facilitated by United Way, but it was stated they would not be raising funds for any proposed community center, but wanted to help get the conversation started.
