Police sought Douglas Johnson for the assault of a 4-year-old child.
A Chillicothe man sought as a person of interest in a child endangering investigation has turned himself in. Southern Ohio Crime Stoppers and Chillicothe Police were seeking 32-year-old Douglas Johnson after authorities were called to a hospital on June 29th on a report of a 4-year-old boy with jaw fractures that required surgery.
Office Bud Lytle says Johnson turned himself in at approximately 5:40 a.m., Wednesday.
Johnson, who was the boyfriend of the child's mother, is accused of becoming angry when the boy vomited, putting him in the shower, and then striking him in the face on June 24th.
