Authorities say a warrant has been issued for Jeremy Keller on a charge of falsification.

A Ross County Jail inmate went to great lengths in an attempt to get out of jail, last month. According to a sheriff's report, 32-year-old Jeremy Keller approached deputies on June 4th and said he had broken his arm after falling down stairs.

Officers reviewed video footage, which did not show Keller falling. Other inmates said Keller was asking others to break his arm, and that Keller did it to get released.

Keller, who was arrested on June 4th for petty theft, received medical treatment for the broken arm and was released on his own recognizance.

A warrant has been issued for Keller on a charge of falsification.
