Strong storms moved through Southern Ohio Thursday afternoon
Several Southern Ohio residents found themselves in the dark again Thursday as a wave of severe storms knocked out power to thousands of customers in Central and Southern Ohio.
AEP and South Central power reported crews were out working around the clock to restore power to customers impacted in Ross, Pickaway, Pike, Vinton, Jackson, and Highland Counties.
There were also numerous reports of trees down and hail of up to 2 inches in diameter in Fayette County.
It was just a little over three weeks ago that storms caused outages to thousands of Ohio residents, some of them without power for up to a week.
Clouds begin to move into Ross County at about 5pm
