$15,000 is coming to upgrade their fire annex.
The Governor’s Office of Appalachia, announced that three projects have received State Appalachian Development Program Grants totaling $167,600.
Grants awarded included the Green Township Fire Department in Ross County, who receives a $15,000 grant that will be used to upgrade and improve the fire station annex. The annex is used to train members of the fire department and is used by the community for various meetings and events.
The repairs to the annex include electrical upgrades, new flooring, insulation for energy efficiency, and improvements to make the restrooms and entrance ADA compliant.
