The road will be constructed behind the Wal-Mart for light industrial development

The Pickaway County Commissioners and County Planning Commission are giving their blessing to construct an access road for future light industrial development behind the Circleville Wal-Mart store.

County Commissioner Glenn Reeser says the $2 million project will be paid for with Tax Increment Financing funds. This will allow for constructing a road to run the length of the store to the south, and into the former RCA Plant property.

Reeser says this will make that area a "development ready area", for whatever company would like to locate there. He added it is for light industrial, not retail or residential development.
