The Ross County Board of Elections says six semiannual campaign finance reports did not meet the July 31 deadline.
A number of locally elected officials have not submitted their semiannual campaign finance reports to the Ross County Board of Elections, so their names have been turned over to the Ohio Elections Commission.
Director of the Ross County Board of Elections Nora Madru said the deadline was July 31, and it was not met by Chillicothe Council members Jeremy Siberell and Alicia Gray; former Chillicothe Council candidate Alexander Scharfetter; Chillicothe Treasurer David Neal; and former Chillicothe Council President Bruce Arnold.
In addition, the Pickaway-Ross Joint Vocational School levy committee did not submit its semiannual campaign finance report.
Madru said the OEC requires local board of elections to file complaints against those who do not file on time.
