The clown-theme show will be held on September 16th.
The Renaissance Singers will be "clowning around" as they perform their fall show later this month. Dan Coates said that the show is different from their typical performances and is called "The Circus Comes to Chillicothe."
"As we go along, we are making ourselves up as clowns. . . . It's a challenge for all of us because, not only do we have to be aware of the dialog going on, we have to be able to sing, plus, put on the makeup, [and] eventually, we up with full makeup and costume right in front of the audience," said Coates.
The September 16th show gets underway at 2 p.m. at Saint Mary's Parish, on South Paint Street in Chillicothe, and is free to the public.
