Over $475,000 has been awarded to the Ross County Airport.

New federal resources have been awarded to an airport in Ross County. U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown announced that the Ross County Board of Commissioners has been awarded federal resources through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to rehabilitate the taxiway at the Ross County Airport.

“Ross County Airport provides important travel services to area small businesses, recreational pilots, and visitors,” Brown said. “This funding will improve the safety and efficiency of the airport so it can remain a reliable option for the county.”

The airport will receive a $475,338 grant to complete the project.
