The warning comes days after a Chillicothe teen died from a car surfing incident

In light of the recent tragedy where a teen died after falling off a moving vehicle, Ross County Sheriff George Lavender encourages people to think about the consequences that can be suffered in any actions involving vehicles.

The sheriff says
car surfing puts people in danger as an abrupt stop can launch an individual at a fast speed, as vehicles are built to protect those on the inside - not those who are on the outside.
