Their Chillicothe office opens in mid October
A new group is opening in Chillicothe that will work with families who have suffered loss due to drug addictions.
Director Tammy Hettinger, who says SOLACE, which stands for Surviving Our Loss and Continuing Everyday, will be more than just a comfort to victims. They will also be an advocate working for tougher laws against drug dealers and seeking help for those who are addicted to drugs.
Hettinger says their 203 West Water Street office should be open by mid October and conduct weekly meetings on Mondays 5-7pm.
The group originated in Portsmouth.
