Two Men Indicted in Gun Related Charges
The Ross County Grand Jury had two open indictments on Friday.
30 year old Anthony Siggers was indited on three counts, that included a Fourth Degree felony of Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Recieving Stolen Property, and a Third Degree Felony of Having Weapons while under Disability.
The charges stem from an incident on August 11 when an Officer saw Siggers riding a green mountain bike near Western Ave and Court Land Drive.
The Officer recognized him as Anthony Siggers, but he gave the Officer a false name. He attempted to hand cuff Siggers who resisted and reached under his shirt toward his waist band.
Siggers then ran from the officer through a field while the Officer gave chase.
Siggers tripped in the field and the Officer saw something black fall from his waist.
Siggers managed to eluded the Officer and made his way to 1218 Dolphin St. there he was spotted in a van by another Officer near the Dolphin Street address. Officers were able to arrest Siggers with out further incident.
After retracing their steps Officers found a loaded Smith and Weston 40 Caliber Revolver lying in the Field. The Gun had been reported stolen from the Dolphin Street address.

Also Indited was Joshua Honaker on a Fourth Degree Felony Charge of Recieving Stolen Property.
On July 21 a victim reported a home invasion on the west side of Chillicothe. The victim said he was asleep when two men forced their way into his home and held him down in his bed. The men then stole jewelry, a watch, cash, a rifle, aTV and a 22 Caliber Derringer Pistol.
Three days later Officers made contact with Joshua Honaker at his home and recovered the 22 Caliber Derringer from his pants pocket.
