Alan Davis believes number submitted in July were wrong
Chillicothe Council President Alan Davis is still expressing displeasure with budget estimates given over the summer by City Auditor Tom Spetnagle Jr.
Davis explained his concerns during Sunday's Communique public affairs program, where he clarified his apology to the auditor last week wasn't about his criticism of his numbers, but over the use of the word "garbage" in describing the auditor's work.
Davis is taking issue with Spetnagle's figures in July, which he says were not modified in July so council could make solid budget decisions.
Spetnagle says he "disagrees" with anyone that says his budget numbers are not correct, and says he will allow the figures he has submitted on the city website to stand on their own.
