Despite the drop, there were still over 24,000 abortions in Ohio in 2011
Fewer Ohio women are aborting their pregancies than at any point since records began in 1976.
According to a report from the Ohio Department of Health, there were 24,764 reported abortions in 2011 - a 12 percent decrease from 2010.
Mike Gonidakis of Ohio Right to Life says African American women make up 10 percent of the state's population, but account for nearly four in ten abortions.
