Crashes reported on Black Run, Pleasant Valley and Rt 772

Three separate traffic accidents kept local emergency crews busy Monday night in Ross County.

Authorities were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Black Run Road, Monday night. According to the Huntington Township Fire Department, safety crews were called to the 2000-block of Black Run at around 10:51pm after the car went off the road and into the creek. Authorities say one person was taken to the hospital by EMS. The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

Separate accidents were reported on State Route 772, where a vehicle swerved to miss a deer- causing the driver to go off the road. Another accident involved a two vehicle crash on Pleasant Valley Road, just west of Unioto School. State patrol troopers said while investigating that crash, a drunk driver drove through the area resulting in his arrest. No further details are known at this time.
