The vehicle continued on and ended up on Potts Hill Road where it went off the roadway and struck a residence at 4724 Potts Hill Road. One of the occupants in the house, 74-year-old Jack Huddleston, received minor injuries and was transported by squad to Adena E.R.
The driver of the vehicle, 35-year-old Ryan Fury and the passenger 38-year-old Donald Henson were both transported by helicopter to Columbus area hospitals.
The item that was thrown from the window was recovered by deputies and was found to be a glass jar with a white powder substance in it. The contents will be sent to the lab for testing.
