Wayne Walker was arrested in California
A man sought in the death of a 10-month-old child in Pickaway County, has been apprehended by federal marshals in California.
44-year-old Wayne "Wolf" Walker was taken into custody in Sacramento thanks to the tracking of bus tickets to the west coast. Walker was also wanted for an unrelated parole violation in California.
Pickaway County Sheriff Dwight Radcliff was notified of the capture Sunday afternoon.
Walker was being sought in the death of Kyle Calton of Laurelville, who died from injuries the doctors believe were possibly caused by violent shaking from another person. The child was the son of Walker's girlfriend.
The child was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital November 28th and died the following day.
