They provide supplental instruction with a specific objective in mind to increase student success.

Ohio University-Chillicothe has a Student Success Center which provides supplemental instruction through peer-to-peer mentoring.

Associate Dean Jim McKean says supplemental instruction is a key component of OUC's strategic initiative for the campus focusing solely on students.

The program was initiated in a retention commitee which consisted of students and faculty with the ideas to target classes that had high drop-out rates.
