Authorities say tools were stolen from the business, Friday morning.
Authorities are conducting a breaking and entering investigation of Murphy’s Tractor on US 23 from Friday morning. Officials with the Ross County Sheriff’s Office say they were called to the business at 6:30 a.m. after employees arrived to find the back door open, a broken window, anti-freeze on the floor, and several hand and power tools missing.
The business also had separate storage buildings that had been broken into with locks cut off of doors, authorities say.
Deputies were able to lift fingerprints from the scene, while on-site cameras captured images that recorded two subjects wearing hooded jackets and a dark-colored vehicle on the property.
The case remains under investigation through the Detective Division of the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.
