Authorities have issued a warrant for the arrest of Ruben Reeves.
Authorities in Chillicothe have issued a warrant for the man who's believed to have been responsible for last week's stabbing. Police Officer Bud Lytle says they're seeking 37-year-old Ruben Reeves, of Columbus, on a charge of felonious assault.
Officer Lytle said Reeves allegedly stabbed 29-year-old Joshua Thomas, of Chillicothe, several times in the abdomen following an argument about money at an East Second Street residence.
Reeves is believed to be in the Columbus area. He's described as a bald black male, who stands 5'8, weights 165 lbs, and has brown eyes.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Chillicothe Police at 773-1191 or Southern Ohio Crime Stoppers at 773-TIPS; however, Lytle says anyone who sees Reeves should not approach him as he has a history of violent crime.
