A person with knowledge about the situation says over 30 people worked at the restaurant.

The Ponderosa Restaurant in Chillicothe has closed. A person familiar with the situation said the restaurant, which had been in operation since the 1970s, officially closed its doors, Wednesday.

The franchise owner says they were evicted by the building owner, when he fell behind in his lease payments.
