Two area meetings are planned for February 21st

Areas across Ohio are slated to receive gypsy moth aerial treatments by the Ohio Department of Agriculture in early spring to slow the spread of the destructive insect. Department staff members will host several open houses in treatment areas that will offer attendees the opportunity to speak directly with those who work with the program, learn about the pest, and view maps of treatment areas.

Those with questions who live near a treatment area will have the opportunity to talk with experts at the following open houses:

Ross, Hocking and Vinton Counties - February 21st, from 6pm-8pm at Colerain Twp. Hall, 49 Whisler Road (next to Colerain Twp. Fire Dept. SR 180 and Whisler Rd), Hallsville, Ohio.

Vinton County - February 21st between 6pm-8pm, Wilkesville Twp. Fire Department, 127 North Town Street, Wilkesville, Ohio
