The program, offered by SOLACE, helps adults identify the signs of drug addiction in loved ones
Adults wanting to become more aware of what to look for in possible drug addiction among loved ones, are asked to attend an event later this month.
Ross County SOLACE Director Tammy Hettinger says Operation Street Smart is free and open to adults February 28th between 10am-2pm at Ross County Service Center on Western Avenue.
Hettinger says they will discuss the signs of drug addiction and what to look for in some of what the adduct might be abusing. Hettinger urges people trying to help an addicted, need to know their limits, saying it is possible to "love someone to death". She believes you might not be able to do anything else to help the addict, until the addict seeks help from a professional.
