Ross County is one of 18 Ohio counties to get funding through the Ohio EPA for the WPCLF.

A program is available that helps income-eligible homeowners repair their failing sewage treatment systems.

Environmental Health Director Ben Avery says there are three requirements for the Water Pollution Control Loan Fund. Applicants must be a Ross County homeowner with a failing sewage treatment system, live in the home with the failing system, and be at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines.

Ross County has been allocated $150,000 for the program. Contact the Health District for more information.
