A Michigan man was arrested for carrying more than $26,000 worth of illegal drugs

A Michigan man is facing multiple felony drug charges following a traffic stop Wednesday night in Scioto County.

Troopers stopped a car on US 23 near Lucasville for a traffic violation. Troopers observed criminal indicators and the subsequent search revealed 122 grams of Heroin, 270 Oxycodone pills. Approximate combined street value was $26,400.

The driver, 46-year-old James Earl Brown of Michigan, was charged with Possession of Heroin and Oxycodone.
