The open enrollment period is March and April
There are two Open Enrollment programs: One is INTRA-district, for parents living IN the city school district...to request their child attend a DIFFERENT city elementary building.
The second is INTER-district, which enables parents in ANY Ohio school district...to request their child ATTEND the Chillicothe City School system.
Open Enrollment does not require tuition, but transportation must be provided by the parents in most cases. Information and forms are available at all Chillicothe School buildings and on the School District website.
A lottery in May will detemine order of placement for first-time applicants. Those already in Open Enrollment must apply to be automatically renewed.
