Christy Schreick replaces Karen McDonald-Myers
The Board of the South Central Ohio Big Brothers Big Sisters has hired a Interim Director in Christy Schreick, replacing Karen McDonald-Myers, who retired.
During her twelve years at the agency, she has served as an Enrollment, Match and Match Support Specialist for 10 years and then as Program Director for 2 years. In 2001, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Shawnee State University and then began working for Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
Schreick stated, "I am very anxious, but excited to take on this new role in the agency. I have some really big shoes to fill. I really enjoy working with the children, volunteers and the communities we serve. I look forward to meeting the teams at Bowling for Kids Sake held in April through the five county area".
Board President, Joyce Atwood stated that the Board members welcome Schreick and consider her an asset with her years of experience at the agency. "Her knowledge of the agency and the community will make the transition easier for the children and families we serve."
