The Chillicothe arts department will also feature student art work, May 3-4.
The Chillicothe High school Music Department is putting on a production of "The Wizard of Oz" on May 3rd and 4th.
"We want to make sure that everyone, right before the levy, sees the wonderful things that our arts department is doing," said Mala Kennard.
The production will start at 7pm, both nights, and ticket information is available on the school Web site. Prior to the show, visitors can walk through the "Celebration with the Arts."
"The visual art department will get art work from kindergarten all the way up through 12th grade, and they display that in the cafeteria," said Kennard. "It's a great way to show the strength of our art department."
District voters will decide on a 6.9 mil property tax increase in May.
School officials said in January that the district will see cuts even if the levy passes.
