The Committee will be tasked with researching the details of the meth lab problem in our community.
City Council President Eric Rinehart has announced the formation of a bipartisan special City Council Committee on meth labs. This committee will be bipartisan 2 Republicans and 2 Democrats, will represent both east and west sides of town, and will have members of the safety services and human resources Council committees.
The following Council Memebrs will serve on this special meth lab committee:
Pat Patrick (R) 6th Ward
Nancey Ames (R) 2nd Ward
Alicia Gray (D) 3rd Ward ( Human Resources Committee Chair)
Dustin Proehl (D) At Large ( Safety Services Committee Chair)
Mrs. Patrick will be the Chairperson of the special Meth Lab Committee.
The Committee will be tasked with researching the details of the meth lab problem in our community and work with the Courts, City Law Director, City Police department, City Fire Department, Mayor Everson's office, and any other appropriate governmental agencies to prepare commonsense and enforceable legislation to fight the meth lab problem head on.
