Donors, volunteers were recognized Thursday for raising more than a half-million dollars.
Donors and volunteers gathered Thursday evening at the United Way Campaign Appreciation Banquet where United Way of Ross County Community Campaign Co-Chairs, Miriam King and Katherine Szczesniak, reported that the local chapter was able to reach 88.8% of it's $625,000 goal.
The 2012 campaign yielded a total of $554,802, through gifts and pledges.
Through efforts of volunteers, the Ross County chapter has raised nearly $1.2 million in the past two years to help those in need.
