Residents can tie into the system at any time.
The Neenah Gardens sewer project is almost completed.
The project came in under budget- thanks to efforts from city utility employees. The final cleanup and marking the roads should be done in the near future. Residents can tie-in to the system at any time.
The tap fee is grandfathered in at the old rate of $350. Residents will need to go to the Building Department on the 3rd floor of the Administration Building to do this. Any City registered plumber can do the work for the residents.
EPA requires residents within 200 feet of a sanitary sewer line to tap in. Once the system project work is completed, residents have up to 2 years to do the tap in at the old rate.
