Jeffrey Coyle, who was indicted June 14, faces 17 felony counts.
A Chillicothe man faces multiple felony counts for allegedly downloading child pornography via the Internet. According to Ross County Prosecutor Matt Schmidt, Jeffrey Coyle was indicted during the June 14th session of Grand Jury for 4 counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor (F4) and 13 counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performance (F5).
The prosecutor says Coyle's girlfriend at the time found child pornography on his computer and reported it to police back in February. The indictment alleges Coyle downloaded illegal photos of multiple minors from the Internet.
Coyle was arraigned on June 18th, where bond was set at $25,000, and a pre-trial is slated for July 18th, according to Schmidt.
