The Pickaway County Sheriff says the involved deputies were not injured in the exchange of gunfire, Sunday.
The Pickaway County Sheriff says a New Holland man is in stable condition at Grant Hospital following an exchange of gunfire, last weekend. Authorities responded to the 23,000-block of State Route 207 on a landowner/tenant dispute, Sunday evening, where Sheriff Robert Radcliff said landowner 40-year-old Zachary Neff was shot in an exchange of gunfire with Deputies Matthew Lane and Brandon Skaggs.
Neither Lane nor Skaggs were injured; however, Sheriff Radcliff said the two have been off-duty to deal with the stress of the incident, which is required by department policy.
According to Sheriff Radcliff, charges against Neff are pending.
