The Ceremony will be held on Jr. Fair Night at the Ross County Fair.
Representatives from the Ohio Department of Agriculture and supporters of agriculture will honor five Ross County families on Tuesday, August 6th at 7pm during Jr. Fair Night at the Ross County Fair.
The Dill, Bowdle, Chenoweth, Cory, and McILvane families will be recognized for maintaining their family farms for more than 200 years.
These families are an important part of Ohio’s history, as well as the state’s current and future economic success. Ohio’s food and agriculture industry adds $105 billion to the economy each year and provides one in seven Ohioans with jobs.
