More than 2,500 service programs can be reached through the free phone call
There are literally thousands of service programs available to the Scioto Valley, if only there was a way to get the word to those people who need it. But the fact is, that resource is already available through 211.
Robin Lettvin is the Emergency Services Coordinator for Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health Center, which operates 211 and the Crisis Line.
Resource Specialist Glenna Huff says despite the fact that 211 has been around for years, many people still don't know what it is.
The free 211 service is operated by the mental health center for Ross, Pickaway, Fayette, Highland, Pike and Jackson counties.
