All kindergarten students need their shots updated, with boosters for some older students
Health officials are always reminding us how children should have their vaccinations before starting kindergarten and boosters before 7th grade. What you might not know, is that even college students are in need of certain booster shots.
When entering kindergarten, students need to have shots for Tdap, polio, rubella and MMR and varicella.
Michelle Long of the Ross County Health Department Long also reminds parents to keep track of their own child's shot records.
Nurse of the Day Clinic at the health department is open 8am-11:30am and 1pm-3:30pm Monday through Friday.
You can learn what specific vaccinations your children need, by going to their website at www.rosscountyhealth.com
