Authorities are seeking the suspects involved in the shooting at a Highland County Deputy, Monday.
A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects involved in the shooting at a Highland County Sheriff's Deputy. Sheriff Ron Ward says the incident took place just after 3am, Monday, near the Pike/Highland County line.
The men were believed to be in a gray, late '90s or early 2000 Dodge Stratus that was missing a tail light and may have rear shotgun damage.
Both suspects are believed to be white males. The driver looks to be in his late 20s, 6'2", with a slender build, glasses, and a goatee, while the passenger appears to be in his early 40s, 5'8", with a stocky build, balding, and thin facial hair (composites can be seen below).
The deputy was not injured in the incident.
Anyone with information regarding the suspects is asked to contact either Sheriff's Department in Pike and Highland counties.
