Council responds to citizens concern about drug abuse.
Public speaker Richard McCartney talked about a rising concern in regard to Waverly's drug trafficking at the city council meeting.
Mayor Greg Kempton said they've been trying to balance their budget and increase police presence.
Council also discussed mosquito and pigeon control, and passed an ordinance to vacate an alley at 101 Walnut Street.
Guest Speaker Ken Reed, director of Pike Metropolitan Housing Authority, discussed water rates.
