A report indicates inmate Kimball Kenaga was found unresponsive Wednesday.
The Highway Patrol is investigating an apparent inmate suicide that took place at the Ross Correctional Institution, Wednesday. According to a report from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, a corrections officer found inmate Kimball Kenaga unresponsive with a cord around his neck in a closet within the Mental Health building.
Kenaga was taken to Adena Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3:22pm.
The report indicates Kenaga left a suicide note and that video surveillance shows Kenaga going into the closet alone.
