Two Arrested when Heroin was Found in Car

Woman had 2-year-old in the car while buying drugs

 

The Chillicothe Police Department arrested two people on multiple charges including possession of heroin yesterday.

Officers stopped a vehicle in the 1100 block of E. Main St., a K-9 Unit was called and detectives seized heroin and drug paraphernalia.

The driver of the car Andrea S. Seymour of Cattail Rd. was arrested for driving under suspension and no operators license. She is also facing a child endangering charge as she had her 2 year old son with her in the car at the time.

Ms. Seymour faces other warrants of Receiving stolen property and theft, and a warrant out of Delaware County for failure to appear on a charge of driving under suspension.

The passenger Ty Rapp of Blackrun Rd. was arrested for possession of heroin and a probable cause warrant out of the Chillicothe Municipal Court charging him with assault.

Both had traveled to Columbus to purchase the heroin. Ms. Seymour's child was released to his Grandmother.
