A documentary featuring Ryan Latham is up for an award at the Sundance Film Festival
A Chillicothe native is appearing in a film documentary that is getting allot of buzz among film critics.
2001 Chillicothe High School graduate Ryan Latham, is the Adaptive Snow Sports Manager for "Challenge Aspen" in Colorado. His work with disabled athletes, which teaches them how to snow ski, is featured in the film "The Movement: One Man Joins an Uprising", which is being shown at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Latham also attended Ohio University in Athens.
Ryan Latham says the film became more involved than first anticipated, going from just a brief instructional film to a 42 minute documentary. Actor/Producer Robert Redford narrates for the film.
The Sundance Film Festival is being held January 19th-29th, with high hopes for an award, and possibly a nomination for an Oscar in the documentary category.
