The Sheriff's Office says one has died in a crash on Charleston Pike.
A Chillicothe woman was killed and two other residents hurt in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon.
The Ross County Sheriff's Office says the collision on Charleston Pike occurred at about 3pm Tuesday in the 7100-block of Charleston Pike.
22-year-old Ashley Penwell of East Water Street was killed and the driver and passenger of the other vehicle were taken to Adena Regional Medical Center.
The sheriff's department says Penwell was driving a compact car when she failed to negotiate a curve, over-corrected then collided with an SUV driven by 62-year-old Gordon Barnhart of Hough Road.
Barnhart and his wife, 51-year-old Sharon suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
