Four men representing the use of clean burning coal, brought their case to Chillicothe Friday for the Rick Santorum Rally.

With Rick Santorum's campaign stop Friday in Chillicothe, we have been reminded of the debate about clean energy for the country.

A group of individuals representing the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity are also on the campaign trail- educating voters of how important coal will be to our nation's future.

Four individuals from the organization stopped by our studios Friday to talk about their cause. Scott Howard is from Colorado, Alex Tarascio of Oregon, Tim Ross from Coshocton, Ohio and Josh Cockerell of Florida.

Ross says Ohio gets 82% of its electricity from coal.

Ross and his colleagues say EPA regulations endanger affordable electricity, even though great strides are being made to make coal burning more environmentally friendly. He says if these laws are implemented, over 183,000 jobs per year will be lost over the next 8 years.
