Chillicothe Police say two men impersonating officers entered a Plyley's Lane home, Saturday.

It's very unlikely that a police officer would come to your home and ask for a urine sample. But that's what a couple of impersonators convinced a Chillicothe woman to do, Saturday.

She told Chillicothe Police that two men wearing blue jeans and dark shirts with star badges came to her Plyley's Lane apartment, identified themselves as officers, and said they needed to talk to her.  Neither foul play nor theft was reported; however, the men eventually had her give a urine sample.

Officer Ron Meyers says that's not likely to ever happen at your home with a real officer.

He said if you find yourself in this situation, be a good witness: "How talk was the person? Height? Weight? Race? Maybe in a case like this, how a person talks may end up being what cracks the whole thing."

Meyers said you can also ask for identification and call the police department to confirm that the house call is legitimate before allowing the officer inside.
