A Ross County Grand Jury indicted Marty Conley with offenses that stem from an October incident.

On Friday, the Ross County Grand Jury indicted a man on multiple counts that stem from a shooting.  Authorities responded to a crash and shooting on Three Locks Road on October 7th. The victims said they dropped off 41-year-old Marty R. Conley's ex-wife at her home on Toad Hollow Road and drove away.

As they were driving, they said Conley came up behind them, using his vehicle to ram theirs off the roadway. There were two juveniles (ages 16 and 17) in Conley's vehicle, one of which Conley reportedly told to give the other a gun.

When the victims got out of the vehicle, Conley and a 16-year-old were standing there, and the minor allegedly fired three shots at the victims; however, the shots didn't make contact with the victims.

Both juveniles ran into the woods, while Conley left the scene in the vehicle.  Authorities found Conley's vehicle days later abandoned at Scioto Trails.

Conley has been indicted for two counts of felonious assault, two counts of complicity to felonious assault, and tampering with evidence. The 16-year-old juvenile has been adjudicated.

Other indictments include:

*35-year-old Wendy K. Barnes, of Chillicothe, for theft of drugs and deception to obtain a dangerous drug. The indictment alleges Barnes obtained a prescription for 20 percocets on November 10th under a false identify and then tried to leave the pharmacy without paying for them.

*32-year-old Shawn A. Snow, of Chillicothe, for domestic violence. On January 22nd, a victim told authorities that Snow and she had gotten into an argument. He allegedly slapped her, knocking her to a bed. Snow has three prior convictions of domestic violence from 2001, 2002, and 2003.

*21-year-old Joshua A. Ragland, of Chillicothe, for possession of cocaine. The indictment alleges authorities found Ragland with 0.5 grams of cocaine on January 11th.

All told, the Grand Jury returned 11 indictments; 4 were open.
