Authorities say the Saturday incident was unrelated to the March 3rd report on Plyley's Lane.

A Chillicothe man was arrested for impersonating an officer, Saturday night. Chillicothe Police say they arrested 26-year-old Chad Fleshman after they were called to the Kohl's parking lot just prior to midnight. Witnesses said Fleshman, who was wearing a cap with the word "sheriff" on it, approached them in the parking lot, and told them to leave or he'd take them to jail.

Police approached Fleshman, who admitted to the claims and said he did it because it was his dream to become a deputy. In his vehicle, officers found the hat, mace, a gold badge, a hand-held scanner, and a baton.

He was arrested for impersonating an officer and taken to the Ross County Jail.

Police say this was unrelated to the March 3rd incident in which two police impersonators allegedly collected a urine sample from a Plyley's Lane resident.
