Waverly Council talked baseball Tuesday night.
Council President Tom Patterson said summer is fast approaching and repairs to the baseball diamonds in Bristol Village need to made soon. Council agreed that a shelter house should be built in the park on a concrete slab that was poured last year.
In other news from Waverly government, Mayor Greg Kempton was absent from the meeting as he is recovering from a recent emergency triple-bypass surgery. But, according to the council president, Mayor Kempton is "doing very well".
